Legislative Lobbyist: Each year, we actively engage in the legislative process by meeting with our State Representative and Senator to advocate for policies that enhance and support our Private Investigator (PI) efforts. These visits allow us to propose new legislation, provide input on existing laws, and share firsthand insights into the challenges and successes of our work. By maintaining a consistent presence at the Capitol, we ensure that the voices of the families and children we serve are heard and considered in policymaking. Our advocacy helps shape legislation that improves outcomes, secures necessary funding, and removes systemic barriers to achieving long-term, stable placements for children.
